- Marseilles, IL (Chicago, IL) – A 66-year-old woman died on Tuesday, 6/30 from injuries sustained in a home fire on Saturday, 6/27. The cause of the fire was careless smoking.

- Antioch, CA (San Francisco, CA) – A 52-year-old man was killed in a home fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no working smoke alarms in the home.
